There is are no age limit for the implementation of CPS. Successful implementation of the model is dependent on the developmental age of the child rather than their chronological age. 

So far we have had greatest success with children aged 6 and above. As a general rule, we will only work with young children of this age or at the very least are of this developmental age.

We recommend around 10 sessions to get a basic grasp of CPS and to kick start collaborative problem solving at home. Each case is unique, some children and families embrace the model in around that number, while others need more time before they see results.

The benefits of CPS are not only in the solutions that you and your child will come up with to their unsolved problems, but also in the process itself. CPS dialogues  strengthen parent and child relationships while building confidence and self esteem in the children.

CPS is a sustainable model in that our success is dependent on families ability to implement the model at home independently.
